 "Ong Bak: The Thai Warrior" is a 2003 Thai martial arts film directed by Prachya Pinkaew and starring Tony Jaa in the lead role. The film follows the story of Ting, a young village boy from rural Thailand, who embarks on a mission to retrieve the stolen head of his village's sacred Buddha statue, known as Ong Bak.

Together, they uncover a network of underground fighting rings that exploit and abuse fighters for financial gain.


As Ting delves deeper into the criminal world, he discovers that Don, the gangster who stole the Ong Bak head, is involved in these underground fighting circles. Ting decides to participate in these fights to confront Don and retrieve the stolen artifact. Through his incredible martial arts skills and determination, Ting defeats numerous opponents, showcasing his prowess in Muay Thai.


The film culminates in a final showdown between Ting and Don, where Ting not only reclaims the head of Ong Bak but also exposes the criminal activities of the underground fighting rings. In the end, Ting returns to his village as a hero, bringing back the sacred Buddha statue and restoring peace to his community.
