WandaVision is a 2021 American miniseries created by Jac Schaeffer for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics characters Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch and Vision. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. The series follows Wanda and Vision, two superheroes who live idealized suburban lives, begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

The series premiered on Disney+ on January 15, 2021, and concluded on March 5, 2021, with nine episodes. It received critical acclaim for its performances, writing, directing, production values, and homages to classic sitcoms, with many critics hailing it as one of the best television series of 2021. The series' plot is set three weeks after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision are both presumed dead. However, the two are now living in the town of Westview, New Jersey, in a seemingly perfect suburban life. However, as the series progresses, it becomes clear that something is not quite right with Westview. The residents of the town are all trapped in a sitcom-like reality, and Wanda appears to be the one in control.

As the series progresses, Wanda and Vision begin to uncover the truth about Westview, and Wanda's own role in creating it. The series also explores Wanda's grief over the loss of Vision, and her journey to becoming the Scarlet Witch.

WandaVision was a critical and commercial success, and it was praised for its unique blend of sitcom and superhero genres. The series also helped to introduce a new generation of viewers to the MCU, and it set the stage for the future of the franchise.
